About
You talk to the person who builds it
riel is a custom software company based in Puebla, Mexico. The person who reviews your operation is the one who designs the system and the one who answers when something breaks. And as the team grows, it will work with the same written method.
The founder
César Barreto, founder
An engineer who has already built the system you need and explains it plainly. César studies industrial engineering and builds software: the same head thinks through the warehouse flow, the cash count and the driver's commission, then writes the code that runs them. That is why riel talks about inventory and collections before technology.
Alongside client projects, he runs two businesses of his own in the dental sector: InovaTienda, an online store with about 3,932 products, card and cash payments and automatic alerts; and Estudio Dental Inova, a prosthetics lab. Selling, collecting and reconciling inventory are not theory; they are his week.
Why “riel”
Your operation, on rails
A business runs well when its operation follows a fixed track: every sale, every payment and every transfer goes through the same place, gets recorded and reconciles on its own. That is what we build. The name is written in lowercase, like any everyday word.
How we work
What shows in the work, not in the pitch
Evidence before claims
Nothing is declared done without tests passing and you seeing it work. The last system delivered went into production with 1,148 automated tests.
Client ownership
Accounts, code and backups in your name; a technical manual so anyone can continue.
Operations first
Inventory, collections and routes before frameworks.
Honest scope
We write what is included and what is not, and we say when packaged software, or no automation at all, is the better choice. On Cessca's site, unconfirmed figures are published as pending, not invented.
No surprises
Dates per phase, price per phase, changes agreed in writing.
A company that grows with the same method
Small today, with the process written down so it will not stay that way
riel states its capacity for new projects each month and does not take on more than it can deliver with tests and documentation. The method —review, written definition, phases with a deliverable, building with tests, verification with evidence, documented handover— is written down and identical in every project. When demand exceeds what one person can build well, we hire people who work with it. That is how a company grows without losing what makes it trustworthy.
Where we are
Based in Puebla. Working remotely with clients in any time zone.
The ERP DG was delivered to a distributor in Morelos and Cessca's site to a consultancy in Cuautla, without a single mandatory visit. Sessions are by video call; field tests, when needed, happen with your team at their workplace. We serve Mexico, Latin America and English-speaking clients.
What we do not say
No adjectives that cannot be checked
We do not promise savings percentages without measuring them. We do not call ourselves leaders or innovators. We do not use AI as an adjective. We do not hide that we are a small team. If a figure appears on this site, it has a source; if we do not have it, it shows as pending.
FAQ
Questions about riel
Who will build my system?
César, the founder, reviews, designs and builds. As the team grows, each project will have an owner who works with the same method and the same delivery package.
Do you have an office I can visit?
We are based in Puebla, Mexico. Meetings are by video call; if your operation needs field tests, we come to your workplace.
Why should I trust a small company?
Because what we build stays in your name with a technical manual and a backup in your account: you can continue without us. And because the method is written down and followed in every project, with tests you can count.
Do you work with clients outside Mexico?
Yes, remotely, in Spanish and English.
